It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results. If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.
Generally 3 months after the procedure you should see some grafts growing in. After 6 months the growth should be greater and it takes a full year to see full results.
You can plan on seeing the beginnings of new growth at around 3-5 months. As time passes and more grafts enter the growth cycle, the hair will become thicker and more robust. Full results can be expected by approximately 1 year.
The answer to your question varies pretty widely from person to person. But most people tned to see 'significant growth' during the 5-7th months after a transplant procedure. Some only take 3, some need as long at 9.
Thereis growth between 4 to 8 months with full result noted after 10 to 12months. Results may vary.
Good morning.Great question. There is no clinical difference in hair growth after a procedure is performed with either STRIP or FUE donor harvesting. After transplantation, the hair follicle falls out at about 2-4 weeks. It may take between 6 to 12 months after the procedure before the transplanted hair follicles grows. Results will vary from one patient to another, and it may take up to to 18 months for the hair follicle to grow. Patients may begin Low Laser Light Therapy immediately after surgery and restart Rogain in 2-4 weeks after healing of the scalp. I recommend to continue to use DHT inhibiters like Finasteride immediately before and after surgery. I advocate to patients High Density Platelet Rich Plasma (HD-PRP) for regenerative treatment to stimulate the follicles that are dormant, or to stimulate hair follicles that remain in an extended Telogen rest phase.
FUE transplant results generally begin being noticeable within 6 months as for complete results take 1 year.
Typically, patients will start to see noticeable results within 6 months. At about 6 months, 60% - 70% of the final result will be visible. Remember, however, that it takes some time for the hair shafts to grow the length of the rest of the hairs if they are longer. By 1 year, about 80% - 85% of the results should be noticeable, and by 1.5 years after surgery, most patients will obtain 100% of the expected results.
Transplanted hairs start to visibly regrow between months 4-6. At month 6-9, a patient may expect to see growth for 80% of the transplants. Again, due to the random cycle of hair growth, not all grafts will start growing at the same time. Initially, the hair my be thinner and finer. It will gain length and density as it matures.Full growth from the transplants is usually achieved at 12 months. In some cases, this can take up to 18 months. This is especially common in female patients. The transplanted hairs will continue to gain length over time.
You must wait it out for at least 5-6 months to see the growth start and 8 months for 80% of the growth to show up
Yes, one month after FUE restoration , you can shave or trim no 1 all donor area ...for recipient area ı recommend you to wait at least 45 days
At 3 months I wouldn't worry too much about patchy or uneven growth. This is the very beginning of your hairs sprouting. If there's still some significant differences in different areas on your scalp past 6 months, you should talk to your doctor about your concerns.
PRP is excellent treatment option to enhance thickness and density of hair loss. PRP sessions should be spread out by months not weeks to maximize the benefits of the procedure.
