I got coolsculpting done yesterday and I wanted to know what over the counter medication I could take without interfering with my results? I heard something about either not taking tylenol or Advil because it can heal the damaged fat cells that my body is trying to flush out. Is this true at all? Thank you.

Answer: Medications after Coolsculpting Procedure There are no medications that will affect the results of your Coolsculpting treatment. You can use Tylenol or Ibuprofen for pain relief granted you have no allergies to these medications or medical contraindications. You may also want to try using alternative pain relief methods such as wearing a compression garment over the area or applying a heat pad. Please consult with your treating physician.
