I had a lemon slice breast lift 6 months ago (only skin under my breast has been removed because of previous implants and bottoming out. But my scar is still pleating.) should i wait? Can this be fixed?
Answer: Scar I would go back to your surgeon and discuss your concerns and options for this. More skin just may need to be removed.

Answer: Scar issues Dear Vivid860265, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Scar post breastlift through crease access Hello! If you have a little excess skin on the side this can be easily managed with a small scar revision under local. I do not typically address this within 9-12 months of surgery. In the meantime conservative measures like massage and application of scar cream and/or silicone gel sheeting would help. This may settle out on its own!

Answer: Revision surgery It’s a difficult question. Some surgeons revise incisions at 6 months while most wait for one year. Your photo does not show terrible pleating I’d wait two more months then decide if a revision is necessary Dr. Taranow

Answer: Dissatisfaction with surgical scar 6 months after revisional breast lift Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, I note an area of irritation / inflammation at the fold beneath the breast. At the lateral termination of the surgical scar, there is minimal scar hypertrophy. As you are only 6 months out from your procedure, it appears that healing is not yet complete. Scar healing takes a year (or more). Consider the application of topical silicone gel sheeting to the healing scar. If the scar thickening does not abate after one year, you may consider scar revision. Discuss this issue with your plastic surgeon.Best wishes...Best wishes...
