Hi, I booked a consult with a doctor in June and trying to figure out what kind of procedure would be ideal for me. I want a lift but I’m worried they will be to small after. Should I consider smaller implants or a fat transplant? I also want my areolars much smaller. Thank you
Answer: Considering options From your photo you should have a nice result from a breast lift alone. The nipple/areola complex will be downsized as part of the procedure. Breast tissue is not removed during a lift, but the breasts may appear smaller when they are lifted. You could consider a small implant if you want more volume or perhaps an autoaugmentation. This uses your own breast tissue to give upper pole fullness. Ive included a video I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Lift You have plenty of breast tissue, so a lift would do well. If you want to be larger, consider a small implant. don't let someone talk you into doing a large implant to avoid the lift since this will just give you larger and still sagging breasts.

Answer: Breast lift with or without implants Hi Finalina, It really depends on what size you would like to be. If you want to be substantially larger, then the only option would be to add implants. however, you can have a beautiful result with your current breasts with adding some fat grafting while reducing areola size and getting better projection. We have been adding fat grafting as an adjunct to fill out the cleavage if desired as well as an internal lower pole support in form of a sling as well to secure the breast position. At Cosmoplastic Surgery, we have used the "Naturabra" technique that allows for your own breast tissue to act as an internal bra that supports the lifted breast while filling out the superior pole. We just reported our results of the past 18 years of over 700 breast lift cases at the 100th anniversary meeting of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons in San Diego in April 2022.

Answer: Not much tissue removed during breast lift A breast lift doesn’t remove that much tissue, so your breasts will remain about the same size as they are now. However, they will be reshaped, so you may find that a different sized bra fits better (whether that’s smaller or bigger). An areola reduction can be performed at the same time. Implants would only be necessary if you want significantly rounder and/or larger breasts.

Answer: Breast lift Hello, it appears that a breast lift in combination with fat transfer to the breasts will give you a nice, natural result. I would not recommend implants. I wish you the best of luck. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD. Double board certified, fellowship-trained plastic surgeon. Houston, TX.

Answer: Bellesoma Method Your breast volume appears more than adequate and you do not need implants. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
