I had a breast lift 2 years that left me with bad skin tenting. I had a revision 2 months ago that did not fix it. After a year, I want to have another surgery to fix it, but 4 surgeons have said it can’t be fixed. One said it was fixable, but he didn’t want to do it because the scars would go around the bottom and end between the nipple and the collarbone. I am so disgusted by the way I look I would take any scar to fix it. Is he right or is fixing this impossible?
Answer: Tenting Leave the tenting alone. The excess scarring is not worth what you could wind up with and would limit your choice of clothing. Liposuction in the area could be tried to see if more skin tightening could be achieved, or tightening with minimally invasive radiofrequency. Otherwise, your breasts would have to be reduced more to decrease the pull in that area.

Answer: Skin tenting Dear mifp, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Skin tenting between the breasts after mastopexy Hi and welcome to our forum! As you are only 2 months post revisional surgery, it is a far too early to assess the result, as scars take a year (or more) to heal. Postoperative swelling may be responsible for the tenting. If the tenting persists, the surgical scars may be released by performing a multiple z-plasty. However the surgical scarring may be prominent.Continue follow up care with your plastic surgeon.Best wishes...
