I noticed about 18 months ago my right eyelid started folding differently. It was mildly bothersome. I noticed when doing a verification photo that it had looked significantly different since then. The right eye seems to stay slightly more open especially later in the day. My left looks normal to me. I initially thought ptosis but it actually appears the R eyelid is more hollow to myself. I had a normal MRI and the optometrist did not offer any valuable insight

Lateral canthal surgery alone will not repair your concerns. Many of the procedure offered by my colleagues to address these are compromise procedures. Releasing the lower eyelid retractors and trying to make a stronger lateral canthoplasty will not fix this. My approach to this considers the...
