Had my surgery (lollipop lift with implants) exactly 4 wks ago. Had a small scab that wasn't going away where the 2 incisions met. Couldn't tell if scab was getting bigger, it wasn't healing like the rest though. This morning while taking a shower, the giant gooey scab comes off. Not a lot of pain (mildly tender to touch). When I look in the mirror, a stitch is literally poking out of a small hole. My doctor appt isn't for another couple weeks, should I see someone asap? How bad/normal is this?
Answer: Breast lift incisions This small breakdown is very common. You need good wound care, You need to see your surgeon and get the suture removed and advice on good wound care. You should heal quickly after that. Good luck.

Answer: Small hole on spot where incisions meet, stitch visibly broken and poking out. Infected, ruined boobs, or normal? Hello dear, thanks for your question and provided information as well… I have to say that you are still early on healing process, it is too soon to determine how your results are going to be, per now, they look very nice and beautiful, you can have one bigger than the other, feel swollen and also have bruises and open wounds, it is normal and that can happen for the first 3 to 4 months until your implants have settle in. I recommend you to wait and keep using your post surgical bra, that will help you with the shape and support. Hugs!

Answer: Small hole It looks like you and some dehiscence with exposure of the internal sutures. You should review with your surgeon. He may cut the sutures out and then review wound care with you.

Answer: Stitch visible in incision You have a very common complication of this incision called "spitting a stitch". As soon as the visible suture is removed, the small open area will heal. Do not wait 2 more weeks to see your surgeon. Call his/her office, tell them what is happening, and you should be brought in immediately for someone to remove that suture. All will then be well.
