I am going through menopause. Will hormone pellet therapy cause any issues if I get BBL/lipo 360?

Hello, I'm 41 and going thru menopause. I started barely this month on the medication BioTe Hormone Pellet therapy. Would I have an issue doing BBL lipo 360 or do I need to stop it? Is my first time getting it this past month July 31.2019. Can people still get a BBL lipo 360 going thru menopause?

generally speaking, menopause is not a contraindication for a surgery. Regarding the therapy, every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

There is some controversy about HRT's safety before surgery. Women using BioTE Pellets to help with hormonal imbalance will require them every 3-6 months. The pellets are more effective then hormonal shots, pills and creams because they are a pure hormone like those found naturally within the body. They are picked up by the blood stream and distributed throughout the body.  Recommend that you check with your OB/GYN for confirmation of the drug's safety prior to a BBL/lipo 360 as it is very difficult to get the dosing right the first time.Menopause itself will not prevent you from getting a BBL and lipo 360 if you are in good health with a BMI around 30.
