It is best to wait for exercise like the stair climber until about six weeks after your BBL procedure. Plastic surgeons have differing recommendations regarding when to begin strenuous exercise, so I advise adhering to your operating doctor's advice.
Typically when performing a BBL, I advise my patients to do less cardio and more weight training/toning because the cardio burns more fat and I prefer them to stay consistent with their figure rather than lose more weight and possibly lose the fat I transfer to their buttocks. Each surgeon has their own preference, as far as climbing stairs, I suggest doing squats or lunges or both to keep you toned but burn less calories instead. A wait period of about 3-4 weeks should be sufficient for you to start working out after surgery!Thank you for your question!
