Is it possible the filler in my lips dissolved from waxing my upper lip?

You filler material is deeper in the the tissues of the lips. It's not possible for the waxing to have dissolved your filler. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO

It is unlikely that the wax dissolved your filler. You may have some swelling from the waxing that is effecting your results. If you remain concerned, I recommend following up with your injector. Best, Dr. Emer

I agree with the other answers that the hot wax melted your filler. Wax usually melts around 130-150degrees F which isn't that much hotter than body temp at 98-100degrees F. 

Certainly though removing the hair of your upper lip may change the shape or uncover the filler situation in your lip. See you injector if this continues to bother you.

Waxing should not have any effect on your lip fillers.  If you have concerns, please see your doctor. Good luck!

This is not possible because the filler is deeper in the skin than the wax heat can go. In fact, there are several studies showing that lasers don't affect the filler and lasers get much hotter (up to 100c) than wax 

It is not likely that waxing did anything to affect the longevity of the lip filler.  Likely you are a little swollen and if even prior to go back to being that way again. Give it a little time and if still concerned follow up with your treating physician.   Good luck.

Waxing an area that has previously been treated with filler is highly unlikely to have a negative impact ("dissolve") on the filler itself. Swelling may be part of the issue. Give all some time to settle down and I would not fear having waxing done in the future secondary to this event. 

It is highly unlikely that the wax treatment had any effect at all on the Juvederm.  If you're noticing an asymmetry it could be a result of swelling from the waxing.  If so, it should resolve within a few days.
