Can I do CoolSculpting on my belly? I have metal implants in my knees

Hello. There would not be any problem with you getting a Coolsculpting treatment on your abdomen. I would have a consultation with your local provider to determine the best options for you.

If one has an artificial hip, or knee implant, coolsculpting can still be used to reduce fat as it does not involve any risk of infection.

Yes, Coolsculpting on your abdomen will not be affected by metal implants in your knees.  Coolsculpting is targeting fat for a short depth underneath the individual applicators and doesn't have a distant effect on other parts of your body. Be sure to tell your CS provider (that you have the implants) as part of your general medical history

Having metal implants in the knee would not affect treatment of the abdomen with CoolScupting.  The implants will not be affected by the CoolSculpting and vice versa.

Hello and thank you for your question! You absolutely can get coolsculpting! The freezing only takes place in the treated area so this will not affect other body areas.
