I am having a hysterectomy one week post my CoolSculpting appointment. Is it safe or should I postpone my CoolSculpting apt?
Answer: Coolsculpting before Hysterectomy--Add Radiofrequency, Thermage, Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra, VASER, ThermiRF Yes, you should be able to have Coolsculpting before your hysterectomy. Coolsculpting needs a combination approach to get the most improvement and may need re-treatments to get desired results. For best results, I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. However, a Vaser liposuction/liposculpture with ThermiRF/J plasma/Renuvion/InMode BodyTite procedure is the best combination for a toned result. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Hysterectomy can be done a week after coolsculpting for fat removal unless it's in the same area I would suggest you avoid lower abdominal coolsculpting if you will have a lower abdominal, through the skin, surgical approach during the hysterectomy. Some people may have some tenderness that is tolerable after coolsculpting but the incision for the hysterectomy, if done through the same area, may increase that discomfort. Otherwise coolsculpting performed in a different area on the body should be no problem a week before a hysterectomy. Let your surgeon who will be performing the hysterectomy know your plans and get their approval to have the coolsculpting.

Answer: CoolSculpting before Hysterectomy Thank you for your question! There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to undergo a CoolSculpting treatment before your hysterectomy. I would, however, make sure that both your CoolSculpting specialist and surgeon are aware of this in case they have any concerns. Best of luck with both of your procedures!

Answer: Cool sculpting before surgery I would not perform Coolsculpting on the proposed incision line. Waistline Coolsculpting should be fine. Always defer to a cool sculpting expert. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon

Answer: Coolsculpting and Hysterectomy Timing At one week out from Coolsculpting, you should be fine in terms of proceeding with a surgical procedure. Make sure you discuss future Coolsculpting treatments with the surgeon performing your hysterectomy, though. Best of luck with your upcoming surgery.

Answer: Coolsculpting prior to surgery there is no reason why you can’t do coolsculpting prior to surgery. However, I recommend waiting three months after surgery to treat areas in the surgical field.
