I would suggest you avoid lower abdominal coolsculpting if you will have a lower abdominal, through the skin, surgical approach during the hysterectomy. Some people may have some tenderness that is tolerable after coolsculpting but the incision for the hysterectomy, if done through the same area, may increase that discomfort. Otherwise coolsculpting performed in a different area on the body should be no problem a week before a hysterectomy. Let your surgeon who will be performing the hysterectomy know your plans and get their approval to have the coolsculpting.

there is no reason why you can’t do coolsculpting prior to surgery.  However, I recommend waiting three months after surgery to treat areas in the surgical field.

There is no problem having Coolsculpting done a week prior to your hysterectomy.  Coolsculpting won't effect your skin or any underlying tissue (other than fat) in the treatment area so regardless of how your hysterectomy will be performed, you'll be just fine.  Best of luck. 

It is not recommended to have a CoolSculpting procedure just prior to an invasive medical procedure. Although there have been no clinical studies to determine if there are any contraindications, it is best practice to wait until after any pertinent medical concerns are cleared by primary physician prior to having a cosmetic procedure done. 

I would do it before because depending on the location and approach of surgery you may not be able to do it afterward.
