Hi and thank you for your question! Coolsculpting effects only the subcutaneous tissue, nothing deeper such as bone and it also leaves the surface of the skin intact and safe. So there is no problem with any patients that have osteoporosis. Your provider will review your medical history with you and do a complete assessment of the area you wish to be treated. An in-person assessment is the best way to be evaluated for coolsculpting to assure you are a good candidate and how many cycles and treatments are recommended. We have nine coolsculpting machines in our office, so this allows us to do multiple areas at one time which will significantly expedite your treatment time. We can use up to four machines at one time to multiple areas! We are recommending all of our patients use the newest topical skin cream from Alastin Skincare called TransFORM Body, starting a few weeks before treatment, during treatment sessions and for some time after, as this has been shown to accelerate body fat reduction and enhance skin tightening from the procedure! Best, Dr. Grant Stevens
