Could my appendectomy after CoolSculpting affected the results?

I had an appendectomy 1 month after my CoolSculpting, could this have interfered with my results? (or lack of).

No, this is unlikely to negatively impact your results. Keep in mind, Coolsculpting needs a combination approach to get the most improvement and may need re-treatments to get desired results. For best results, I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. Unless you were sedentary after your appendectomy and gained a bunch of weight then it's unlikely your surgery will interfere with your CoolSculpting results. Best wishes.

Having an appendectomy 1 month after CoolSculpting should not affect your ultimate results.  There could be some temporary swelling to your abdomen after the appendectomy and CoolSculpting results can take up to 12 weeks.  Some people also require more than one CoolSculpting session to obtain their desired results.

Thank you for your question.  CoolSculpting is a non-invasive treatment that is intended to change the appearance of the treatment area by delivering controlled cooling at the surface of the skin to break down fat cells.  An appendectomy would not affect your results which can take up to 3 months.  Best of luck.

Once you have Coolsculpting, the process is complete in the sense that the cells that have died and are eliminated can not come back. (whether you want them to our not)  If you gained weight after your surgery as a result of not being able to exercise regularly that may contribute to not seeing the results you had hoped for.  Most patients however do require more than one treatment to achieve their desired outcome.  If you have been cleared by your surgeon you can have a second treatment to help further your results.  Hang in there!
