I understand your concern, but rest assured it is unlikely your alcohol consumption will have an effect on the longevity of your dermal filler. Alcohol immediately following your treatment may increase your bruising risk but at this point, I would not expect it to be a problem. I will say some patients definitely metabolize dermal fillers faster than others, though it may be due to other factors than alcohol. Enjoy the results of your treatment!
Drinking alcohol will not make the results from your lip filler dissolve or fade faster. So no need to worry!
Consuming alcoholic beverages will not cause changes to the longevity of your fillers. Typically lip filler results last six to nine months depending on amount and type of filler selected.
The only thing alcohol can do it make you more prone to bruising. Other than that, it will have zero affect. And will not affect the longevity in any way. For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
Give it 2-3 weeks if still swollen and bruised, see an expert to evaluate the situation. Best, Dr. Emer.
