Sudden onset Pigmentation 4 weeks post lip filler - Is this permanent? What can be done about it?

Hi all, I had 1mL Juvederm ultra to my lips 4 weeks ago (4th April) & had a healite II treatment yesterday 10am. This morning I noticed this marked blue tinge to my lower lip when I woke up. No injury. Looking through pictures I can see some unevenness to the area yesterday and maybe even 2 weeks ago- no blue pigment but some uneven filler. Is this permanent? What can be done about it?

You were great about documenting in photo's the journey to what appears to be a little brown spot on your lip.  If I look closely in the photo's, I see a small cold sore like bump under the skin of your lip. Once this little bump went down, you are left with a brown mark. It looks like the filler has settled down.  It will dissipate and absorb in time, but if there is something uneven hyaluronic filler can be dissolved.  You should go back to the person that performed your injections in the first month with concerns.  Good Luck and Be Well!Michael R.
