15 days after gynecomastia surgery, may I carry my own luggage for an overnight train journey?

Question

15 days after gynecomastia surgery (both liposuction and excision) will it be advisable for me to carry my own luggage (two bags of approx. 10 kgs and 7.5 kgs, one in each hand) for an overnight train journey? I have got lower berth, so there should be no difficulty on that account. But I will need to carry the luggage in and out of the railway stations which will involve walking up and down the stairs of footbridges. Neither station has an elevator or a ramp.

Gynecomastia surgery, unlike breast augmentation, does not require any manipulation of the pectoral muscle. As a result, weight and activity restrictions are generally not as strict though it does depend on what type of gynecomastia surgery was done. I generally let my patients go back to the gym at 2 weeks if the surgery was liposuction (small line scar) or glandular excision (half moon scar around areola). If a full breast reduction was performed I recommend a month.
