Answer: Cost of surgery Dear Dynamic619112, the cost of surgery depends on a lot of factors (type of surgery, number of treated areas, anesthesia fee, surgeon, facility fee, city, etc.). It would be the best to visit or call plastic surgery offices and ask for a price. Answer: Recovery and cost for gynecomastia surgery Hello, in many men it is very frequent to find excess fat and/or excess mammary gland, this is called gynecomastia. In mild cases usually we treat this tissue excess with liposuction only, whereas in more severe cases we would suggest taking some of the excess gland out directly by a very small incision under the nipple. Both options don´t require more than a couple of days to recover completely and it is usually done under sedation and local anestesia. We recommend a Body Mass Index less than 35 to minimize anestesia risks and recovery process. The cost of this procedure goes around $3,500-4,000 USD

Answer: GYNECOMASTIA Hello. After 2 to 3 weeks, most people can return to more intense activities, but it is recommended to avoid heavy or high-impact exercise for 4 to 6 weeks to ensure that the skin and tissues heal properly. Although most patients feel much better after just a few weeks, full recovery can take 6 to 12 months, especially for the final breast contour to fully settle. You can write to us at 829-554-6062 to give you a quote about your surgery.

Answer: Gynecomastia surgery The price for gynecomastia surgery is dependent on what each provider charges, if the procedure is done in a formal operating room, and to some degree if an anesthesiologist is involved. Prices very from one provider to another, and to some degree based on geographic area. Some individuals need open glandular excision in combination with liposuction. Individuals with significant skin laxity may need at chest lift, which is a substantially more complex provider and will be more expensive. This website has pretty good information on actual prices. Patients have paid in the past. I’m guessing you might find a price range between $3000 and $13,000. Got to come ask yet assessment and surgery is not always easy or straightforward. There are three tissue variables that contribute and understanding how much of each tissue contributes. The three tissue variables that contribute to fullness in the male chest are skin laxity, excess subcutaneous, fat and glandular breast tissue. Understanding which tissue variable is contributing, most helps understand each individuals, candidacy, and what treatments are likely to work or not work. Skin laxity is the most difficult variable and this tends to be an issue on individuals who are older or have had histories of obesity, especially weight fluctuations.Best, Matt hagstrom, MD
