I have a very physical job that requires pushing and pulling hospital beds and moving patients. I also wear a pretty heavy lead apron all day as part of my job. I am wanting to get under the muscle breast implants. How soon could I go back to wearing my lead apron and return to the pushing and pulling aspect of my job?? I don't look to get very large implants. Just to look natural. Maybe a large B or small C.

Answer: Return to work after breast augmentation I would want you to avoid heavy lifting after sub-pectoral breast augmentation for 3 weeks. This would mean anything over 20 lbs, so you might need to get help with moving patients during this time. Good luck...it will be worth it!

Answer: Recovery time post breast augmentation for an X-ray technician? I perform breast augmentation through all 4 incision approaches, and I do not think that incision makes any difference in pain. The pain will come from muscle dissection which is necessary in all methods, Recovery will take 4 weeks in most cases, though many patients can return to sedentary activities in a few days. Resuming strenuous activity is not recommended until 6 weeks post op. I would caution you not to lift over 10 pounds during the first six weeks.
