Subfascial placement? Female, mid-thirties 5’5, 127lb, active looking for modest increase in breast size after having children .I am considered “minimal” tissue on the upper pole, but was leaning towards subfascial placement for concern over interference with exercise and lifestyle choices. How often are the edges visible if stay conservative on cc’s with this approach? If I were to choose this approach, is there a recommended implant, profile, or any other facts I should take into consideration? I have 3 consults, all different opinions, and left confused. I have broad shoulders, so I am going for balance, but would like to be conservative. Breast width was measured at 13 cm. I was told anywhere between 250-350cc and low profile to moderate. Based on pictures, I don’t have a lot of upper pole thickness. What size would be best with the profile for natural look? And profile?

Thanks for your question! No, these implants were not recalled. They are a smooth-walled device. It does sound like you are developing capsular contracture and that may indicate a rupture. Good luck!
From your straightforward photographs, it seems you have very little lateral fullness. Therefore, you may want to consider adding some fullness on the side with an implant wider than your chest wall. If you have larger hips, you may want and implant even a little wider for balance.
Thank you for your question regarding implant sizing.
In my experience, having the patience measurements specifically your base width diameter is crucial for choosing the correct implant for an augmentation.
I encourage you to have an in person consultation so your surgeon can measure you...
