In doing my research for getting breast implants and choosing between the different types, it seems as though allergan is the most popular but Ive looked at the data myself online and it shows that mentor and sientra have much lower capsular contracture rates at about 8-9% while allergan implants have 18%. Is this true? Does that mean that choosing allergan implants has double the risk for capsular contracture? Please help me assess this data!
Hello, scheduled surgery is in one week and I keep going back and forth on the size, that I swear my surgeon is going to hate me. Height 5.5, weight 112, band 28in. Will be under the muscle with inframammary incision, all implant sizes are high profile SRF. Originally picked 385cc but I thought it wouldn't give me the desired look so I went to 415cc, the surgeon said my body could handle 450cc and then pick that but now I think I should go back to 415. Any comment is appreciated.
I weigh 145 lbs, 5' foot, curvy, with a diameter size of 6.5(L; I'll be getting a lift on this side) and 7(R), I've never breastfeed or had kids and a 36B; I originally wanted 550cc but after finding my surgeon and doing my research I've decided based on my stats going over 500cc would not be safe or a good idea. So my surgeon and I decided on 470cc-495cc because I'd like to be a large D/small DD. Would this this range give me the look I want or closed to it?
Natrelle implant 320cc soft touch low plus profile was recommended to me at my consultation, my breast width is 13 diameter . Im currently am 39 years old with deflated 36 C/D, 54 166 pounds athletic build. Would moderate 375cc make a big difference.
Differences between brands of implants. I have noticed that in Mentor breast implants, there is a low, moderate, moderate, plus, and high profile. In the Natrelle brand, I notice there is low, low plus, moderate, full and extra full. Is it correct to say that the low profile plus is equal to most other brands moderate, considering natrelle does not have a moderate plus?
Hi, I recently had my consultation and the surgeon measured both my breasts at a width of 12cm. My patient care coordinator then helped me try on sizes with diameters +/- 1cm. I am worried about looking overdone with the full profile implants (using natrelle soft touch implants) so decided to stick with moderate profile. I ended up picking the largest volume I could which was 345 cc with a diameter of 12.5cm. Im worried about being too wide for my measurements. Should I size down or go hp?
Are the natrells and gummy bear implants the same thing or is Natrelle a brand name? I tried looking it up, but of course still confused. Also, what is the specific name if I wanted silicone gel and are silicone gels just as natural as gummy bear implants but hold better?
On order: Natrelle Inspira SoftTouch 415cc Smooth Round HP going UTM. 52 127-128lbs (6m pp) 15BWD 36A/B (deflated after breastfeeding 3 babies) Surgery is scheduled July 18th. Im concerned Im going to want bigger since its going UTM. But I dont want to be top heavy since Im short.
Doubts on surgeon. My surgeon says I can only have 375cc mod profile, and if I want high profile I can only have 485cc and not less. I attached my wish pics. Does 375cc mod profile Natrelle give me a similar result? I'm 5'3 138lbs, 22y/o without kids. My surgery is in 5 weeks.
I had 360cc teardrop natrelle implants changed from the subglandular to dual plane pocket. They seem a lot smaller but they are still riding high-I also still have loose breast tissue. I am 1 month post op. Will they always look smaller then they did subglandularly? Should I have gone a bit bigger to maintain the same size? Thanks.
