You are describing sensation to the ulnar nerve distribution of your left hand. There are many reasons for this. It may be from swelling if the arms were liposuctioned or could be compression in that area from the garment if to covers your arms. It could also be from positioning in the operating room and or positioning at home post op. Talk to you PS as they know more about what was done.

Most numbness it’s caused from pressure that was placed on your nerve during surgery in time, the nerve will generate and sensation will return. Please keep your plastic surgeon aware of your progress. Most pressure induced numbness occurs in the elbow area and affects the ring and small finger.

Do your homework and read online reviews, evaluate before and after pictures and choose to have an in-person exam / consultation with an AOA or AMA board-certified plastic surgeon that has privileges to do this surgery at a pier reviewed local hospital.
