You have some very mild features of tuberous breast with a slightly constricted breast base on the right. Maybe a shorter nipple to breast fold distance. Breast implants would be the most effective way to increase the size and to get them closer together. Adding fat transfer for contouring Can be a useful adjunct to further narrow your cleavage and boost the lower pole of the Breast where you have less volume!
Thank you for posting. You do not have tuberous breast but you have a narrow base and they are far apart. Breast augmentation with the correct shape implants plus a slight lift will give you the results you are looking for. The lift will not only lift the areolas but it will also tapper the breasts to help re-shape them and fill out the cleavage area.Best of luck,Dr. Miguel Mota
Thanks for your question. Yes, you do have some of the features of tuberous breast, such a short lower pole and a nipple areaolar complex that is relatively large in comparison with your overall breast volume. You do have a wide intermammary distance (the central gap between your breasts in the midline). You may benefit from a combination of a breast augmentation (with implants or fat transfer) and a mastopexy (breast uplift). You should also bear in mind that you have some pre-existing asymmetries in volume, shape, and the level of the lower fold of your breast (inframammary fold) and your surgeon will need to account for these. Fundamentally, your breasts cannot be brought closer together, but the distance between them can be camouflaged to some extent with implants or fat transfer. Consult with an expert in aesthetic / reconstructive breast surgery.
You appear to have a distinct breast fold and no constriction of tissue around your nipples, therefore your breasts don’t appear to be tuberous. A straightforward breast augmentation would most likely be sufficient to increase the size of your breasts. Please speak with your surgeon to determine the extent to which the gap between your breasts would be reduced, and if it would be enough to achieve your goals.
The technique I recommend is a lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
It does not look that you have typical tuberous breast, but more likely a milder variety, narrow base breasts. Your surgery should include a breast tissue reshaping to spread breast base (similar to tuberous breasts) and augmentation with implants. This requires more expertise than a simple breast augmentation; you should be very careful when selectin your surgeon. Good luck.
Thank you for the question and photos. It looks like you may indeed have a tuberous breast deformity. In addition, your breasts are of different size, shape and position on your chest. There are some things that can be done to improve your symmetry and address your size concerns, but there will always be differences between the sides. There is also a limitation on how close together the implants can be placed due to anatomical reasons. You have a relatively complicated cosmetic problem and I recommend seeing an experienced (10-15 years) board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in breast surgery. Good luch
I have done breast surgery on 2 patients with EDS. I would need more information to give a more accurate answer. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Your breasts have a distinct fold and there doesn’t appear to be constriction of tissue around your nipples. For these reasons, you don’t appear to have tubular breasts. If you’re concerned about their appearance, a lift may help reshape them so that they’re rounder and fuller in the upper p...
Tuberous breast deformity is a wide spectrum of breast aesthetic appearances related to tight constricting fascia of the breast. When this fascia is too tight (in varying amounts), it can result in a wide range of nipple herniation/asymmetries/bulges and high riding/constricted breast folds with...
