I am keen for a professional opinion on my breasts and am able to send photos. I feel as though I have a deformity and am unsure if I should ask for help. They have affected my mental health greatly since I was very young.

Your breasts have a distinct fold and there doesn’t appear to be constriction of tissue around your nipples. For these reasons, you don’t appear to have tubular breasts. If you’re concerned about their appearance, a lift may help reshape them so that they’re rounder and fuller in the upper portion. An areola reduction can be performed at the same time if you’d like to achieve a more proportionate areolae size.

Your breasts are not tuberous, just ptotic.  The technique I recommend is a breast lift using The Bellesoma Method.  This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage.  Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained.  Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

Without examining you it is difficult to be certain but it does appear as though you have a form of tuberous, or tubular, breasts. This is something that can certainly be corrected as part of a breast lift or augmentation as long as your surgeon recognizes it and releases the constricted areas appropriately. In your case the right procedure would depend on the goals but at the very least a lift would be required to reshape your breasts. An implant could be added if you wanted a rounder/fuller appearance as could a fat transfer if you wanted more fullness in the upper pole but did not specifically want a round shape or would prefer not to use an implant. Meet with a few board-certified plastic surgeons in your area until you feel comfortable that one can do the job that you want. Best of Luck!
