I want to make my labia smaller and my thighs tighter. What work would I need done? (Photo)

Thank you for your questionYou are describing two separate problems. 1) The outsides show both excess skin on the labia and prepuce. There are actually two pair of inner labia: a lower pair that inserts into the clitoris and an upper pair , that forms the hood, and can insert into and even overwhelm the lower pair. In your photo there is excess prepuce which should be reduced (giving a "bridge of the nose " appearance) and then the lower pair can be reduced by one of a number of techniques. -See video below for more information .2) Having four children can make things feel real loose inside. Vaginal reconstruction can correct this issue. The nvagina is connected six ways:entrance, apex, anterior or bladder side, posterior or rectal side and two lateral sides. Each of these is repaired differently so you need a vaginal surgeon well experienced and trained in these techniques. Preferably find a surgeon knowledgeable in " site specific defect repair". Do your homework to avoid problems. Look for reviews and before and after photos.Both insides and outsides can be done at the same time.

Based on the pictures that you provided, you appear to have enlarged and elongated inner lips (labia minora). I would recommend a Labiaplasty procedure in order to reduce the length and the width of your labia minora which will help achieve the look you desire. It will also make wearing tight clothes more comfortable.

I suggest that you seek an in person consultation with a Board-Certified plastic surgeon specializing in Labiaplasty to further discuss your options, specific techniques, concerns and expectations.

Based on these photos, you would do well with a wedge resection labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction. you might need a perineoplasty, but this is determined during an in person history and physical examination. See a board certified plastic surgeon or gynecologist who have extensive experience in female genital cosmetic surgery for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.

A labiaplasty and hood reduction is an excellent way to reduce extra hanging tissue of the labia minora and clitoral hood. This will make most of if not all of the inside labia tissue totally hidden within the outside labia or labia majora. Labiaplasty is a very quick procedure that can be done under local anesthetic with a healing time of just a few days and back to normal in just a few weeks. There’s no sensation changes in my approach and no visible scars. Routinely labiaplasty has the highest patient satisfaction of any of the procedures that I perform. Please find a surgeon with lots and lots of before and after photos and videos and reviews on labiaplasty and you’ll have an excellent outcome and precisely your desired results not to mention the increase confidence you seek.

Your labia minora are enlarged. A labiaplasty is a good idea, but it must be performed by a surgeon with experience. One of the two most common techniques is the central wedge technique, which I invented in 1995 and published in the plastic surgery textbooks. It is also known as the "V" or wedge technique. Gynecologists and most plastic surgeons perform a labioplasty very differently. They essentially trim the labia minora (inner vaginal lips) and leave a long suture line instead of the normal labial edge. Their technique is the same whether a scalpel or a laser is used. This can lead to scallops and irregularities. In contrast, the central wedge removes triangles of tissue and bring the normal edges together. Thus, the normal labial edges, normal color, and normal anatomy are preserved, but the darkest labial tissue is usually removed. If you have extra tissue on your clitoral hood, it can be reduced it at the same time. No matter the technique, an inexperienced or unskilled surgeon can lead to a high rate of complications, chronic scar discomfort, labial deformities, and further surgery. About 40% of the female genital cases I perform are revisions of labiaplasties and clitoral hoods botched by other doctors.

Liposuction can be performed on your thighs at the same time.

Although nothing replaces an in-person examination it appears you would benefit from a labia majoraplasty, labiaplasty, and reduction of clitoral hood, lateral prepuce and frenulum tissues. I see why you are self-consious. You have vary large, asymmetric and dark labia minora as well as a large clitoral hood. You are an excellent candidate for coametic vaginal surgery. The labia minora can be made smaller with a labiaplasty. The inner thighs are only partly visible in the photos, but the skin appears smooth and tight, so repost with better photos and circle the areas that bother you. Sometimes lipo helps. Sometimes exercise helps. "Make "things" tighter and "just better looking all the way around" is extremely vague, so you need to explain exactly what you're looking to achieve.
