Answer: Liposuction can be performed on the shoulders and upper arms. Liposuction of the upper arms is fairly common. Liposuction of the shoulders less so but if there is indeed surplus fat than it can be removed by liposuction.

Answer: Liposuction Liposuction can certainly be done for these areas if there is excess fat deposit although it is less common than areas like the Abdomen and Thighs. The extent of the "problem" will need to be determined after careful examination by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Answer: Lipo can help give your upper body a more proportional look Yes, liposuction can certainly help contour your upper arms and back, although of course a physical evaluation would be necessary first to decide the best approach. I like to use AquaShape™ liposuction for greater precision, and the results and recovery are typically much faster as well. More important than the specific lipo technique used, though, is the skill of your surgeon, particularly in a more fibrous area like the upper back and shoulders. Be sure to look for a board certified plastic surgeon who is well-versed in upper body contouring with liposuction.
