I weighed 187 pounds from 4 years, lost and gained, lost and gained now I'm 160 pounds. I'm pear shaped, even smaller on upper body, larger on the lower (hips, thighs and calves) and I'm so flabby among all these parts.
Answer: Liposuction can aggravate excess skin. If part of your aesthetic problem is excess skin liposuction might actually aggravate. Posting a picture would be most helpful.

Answer: Liposuction can aggravate excess skin. Without photos it is difficult to be specific. However my guess is your skin will not shrink well and the liposuction may make the skin look worse, as shrinking and tightening will be a problem.Good LuckStephen M. Answer: Liposuction skin excess You are right in asking this question but the answer depends on a range of factors. As we get older, the ability of the skin to contract after volume loss reduces. Younger people are therefore more able to deal with larger volume liposuction of their tissues without having as much skin excess afterwards. Also you say your weight has bounced up and down which tends to have a greater effect in stretching the skin and reducing it's ability to retract. Genetic and racial factors may also have an impact. It is difficult to answer your question without a face to face consultation so I suggest you see a plastic Surgeon for information as it applies to you. It is true that the liposuction can leave you with flabby skin excess.I hope this helps. Kind regardsMark Haniker

Answer: Can Liposuction work for flabby thighs? Or it's gonna leave me more flabby? Even if I worked out after then? The answer is yes, liposuction can work on flabby thighs, but I cannot tell you if it will be a good procedure for your thighs unless I were to examine you in person.People who have skin with good elasticity (meaning the skin will "shrink back" onto the body after the liposuction) will have good results from liposuction. People who have skin that is already very loose will not see the skin shrink back onto the body after liposuction, however fat is still removed and you can fit into clothing better. Young people have skin with good elasticity. Older patients and people that were formerly very obese have skin with poor elasticity.Working out will not correct the problem of too much loose skin after liposuction. The only solution would be body contouring surgery, such as a thigh lift. I hope this helps!
