Hello and thank you for your question. You are a great candidatefor a breast augmentation. The size, profile, and shape of theimplant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wallmeasurements, and soft tissue quality. This decision shouldbe based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both youand your surgeon. This entire surgerycan be performed with a small incision technique. Make sure youspecifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who havehad this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find asurgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with aqualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Thank you for your question and photographs. Tuberous breasts exist along a spectrum of severity and are hallmarked by a few key appearances - an elevated, tight breast crease causing the breasts to be narrow. Because the breast tissue in a tuberous breast pushes into the areola, you will see the areola be enlarged and "puffy". Based on your pictures you do not appear to be tuberous, but rather small breasted. Hope this helps.
Hello,Thank you for your question and photos. You do not appear to have tuberous breast but perhaps some constriction in the lower poles which could be addressed during a breast augmentation surgery. I recommend that you seek a board certified Plastic Surgeon with plenty of experience in this area. They will examine you, discuss your goals and provide you with options. My patients find it helpful to try on implant sizers in the office with a form-fitting T-shirt in order to get an idea of how they will look. All the best
Tuberous breasts typically have a narrow base and herniation or puffiness of the areola. There can be a wide variation of appearance depending on the severity of the problem. On the basis of your photos I see no evidence of this. This and other variables will be addressed by your surgeon at the time of your consultation. It is important to consult a board certified plastic surgeon. Thanks for your question.
Thanks for your question. From the photos it does not appear that you have tuberous breasts. You appear to be an excellent candidate for a breast augmentation if you decide to undergo surgery. All the best with your upcoming surgery!
Thank you for your question. Based on the picture you do not have tubular breasts. You have small breasts with constriction of lower pole. Good luck with consult
It is good to wear a supportive bra (without underwires) after breast surgery for 6 to 12 weeks. I advise them for about 12 weeks as underwired bras can sometimes cause discomfort over the scar area and it does take about 3 months for swelling to settle before you can invest in a new wardrobe of...
Thank you for the question. It will be important to speak to your surgeon in regards to bra sizing for after surgery. In my practice, the office provides the bra for the patient so this is not something my patients need to do prior to surgery. There is no "standard" when it comes to the use of ...
Thanks for your question. While patients will experience varying degrees of swelling following an arm lift, it's best to be seen and evaluated by your plastic surgeon to exclude complications. Please call them! Best of luck to you
