i was told to wait 3 days to take a shower after having a breast augmentation and arm lift. i guess this means that i unwrap myself. do i wrap back up afterwards? i wasnt given clear instructions.

Answer: Post-op instructions should be provided by your surgeon and you should adhere to his/her policies. We all have different opinions about showering after procedures as my own personal preference is 2 days as being plenty adequate for wounds to seal themselves. Some surgeons go with 24 hours. As for wrapping, support, bra, use, etc, you simply should ask your surgeon, who should be available to you 24/7 at this point and follow his/her instructions.
