I had my breast implants removed yesterday morning and I'm wondering if at this point if it's possible to have too much compression? I'm wanting to wear a sports bra over my ace wrap to keep the ace in place. Is that a bad idea?

Answer: Compression I would suggest you speak with your surgeon's nurse to discuss your ace wrap and bra. You don't want to wear the compression wrap too tightly.

Answer: Compression after Breast Implant Removal The two concerns with excessive compression are (1) the impact on breathing and (2) compromise of blood supply to the skin in the operated area. Wearing a sports bra over an ace wrap would be unlikely to cause either of these problems if applied correctly. The ace wrap should be checked to make sure it doesn't roll up and act more like a rope, since this can result in too much pressure on the skin.
