Hello, Im wondering if a mini facelift with SMAS tightening would be appropriate for my concerns with my lower facial drooping around mouth and jawline? 45 years is my age and I have already done non-invasive treatments in the past such as Morpheus8 and therm tight. I am looking for a more noticeable improvement to my lower facial dropping. Thank you for any feedback.

It is most appropriate for patients to inquire here at RealSelf about what treatment(s) produce what results.  However, each surgeon incorporates different aptitudes and techniques and each and every patient is different so it is improper to generalize.  The best answer is by simulating the result of the procedure you're considering in the office.  If you like the surgeon's honestly simulated result by his/her/their manual repositioning of skin and deeper tissues, that may be a worthwhile investment for you.  Often however, treatments from the side of the face (facelift) do not sufficiently improve features in the central face, i.e. around the lips.  Sometimes, superficial liposuction, corner of lip lift, mid-face lift, etc. produce what you want more directly.

You are an excellent candidate for an eccentric lip lift.  This does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.  This takes 1 hour to perform under local anesthesia and costs $4,000.

You should consider liposuction under local with quantum and Morpheus to help give that great neck, lower face / jawline. You probably aren’t ready for a face/neck lift yet.

Based on the series of nicely post photos, I recommend the virtual consultation, but in general, I would do a mini face neck lift with SMAS plication plus the Endo laser treatment and possibly a temple lift. Expect fees to range from $8000-$15,000. Best virtual consult with.
