Loose skin under chin, lost cheek fullness, slight marionette lines - Will a Mid Face Lift Help Neck and Cheek Sagging? (Photos)

Question

I am 40. At 37 I had a 'quicklift' lower facelift procedure because I had lost a lot of weight. It looked great until I lost even more weight. Now, I have loose skin under my chin, but I have also lost youthful fullness in my cheeks and I have slight marionette lines. When I lift the side of my face (as shown in the photo), it seems to address address all 3 issues. Would a mid face lift be a good route to take? Thank you.

A mid face lift will do nothing for your neck, which is not saggy at all. You have a very high forehead. You may want to consider an extended brow lift. The brow lift extends down to the lower portion of the ear and pulls up the mid-face. This will also decrease the height of your forehead and lower the hairline.

A midface lift lifts the anterior cheek and undereye area, but doesn't do much for lower cheeks, jawline, and neckline.  The procedure to address these areas is a facelift, likely with fat grafting to address the lost cheek volume.

Have you thought about just adding more volume back to the face? This is something that would need to be addressed with a lift surgery anyway esp if you say you've been losing weight.

You seem to  be a great candidate for a lower face/neck lift.  It would give you a great jawline and neck and is so easy to undergo under local with a little iv sedation for complete comfort.  Also get the skin resurfacing package at the same time since you want the whole face, neck and chest to look rejuvenated as well.  Cost is roughly $25,000 for quality work.

Your question is quite interesting. My question back to you is are you going to continue to have more weight loss if the answer is yes then I would not recommend any surgery to you are finished losing weight. But if your weight loss is done based on your post photos I would recommend a midface neck lift combination With multiple muscle tightening complication techniques, and use of the Endo laser under the chin and jawline.
