What can I do about a deep philtrum? (Photo)

I have a very long and deep philtrum that makes my upper lip area appear dark because of how pronounced it is, especially in shadows and this photo is taken with flash so it isn't as deep as it usually looks. Is it possible to inject filler between the philtrum to help make it appear less harsh? Or. is the only option to lessen the appearance a lip lift?

Thank you for your question.  I personally have not seen this in my practice. If you desire to continue receiving injections in the future, it may be beneficial to try another manufacturer of hyaluronic acid fillers such as Galderma products. Best of luck to you!
