What can I do about a deep philtrum? (Photo)

Thank you for sharing your excellent question and photograph.  You appear to have very nice, youthful lips with well-defined philtral columns.  Although you could place filler to lessen the depth of the philtrum I would not recommend any treatment as your columns will lessen with age and are currently very attractive on you.  Hope this helps.

Hello, most patients are asking for more philtrum columns like yours. You may place filler there, but could also make the area appear more heavy. If the nose to upper lip length is elongated, then a lip lift could be a more appealing solution.  Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon and or experienced injector to make the best decision. Thank you,Chase Lay, MD
