Question

I notice my face sagging a bit and my skin is somewhat loose. I'm not sure if what I have is jowls or buccal fat, and my nasolabial folds are more pronounced than expected for my age. Is it possible to have a mini facelift at my age? If not, what other alternatives could I consider? (Note: I'm afraid of fillers because of the pillow face issue haha)"

My belief is, you are too young to consider having this type of surgery performed. I think you should maximize all of the proven choices to keep yourself and your skin looking youthful, namely, sun avoidance, good hydration, excellent nutrition, healthy exercise habits. This will allow you to create the very best version of yourself without surgery or downtime. Best wishes.

You have some aesthetic concerns that you are worried about, but likely most other people do not recognize.  A facelift is the absolute wrong treatment at this point in your life. Surgery without indications offers risk without reward

You do not have premature aging.
Your face is consistent with a 21-year-old.
There’s no indication for surgical intervention and you should not have any type of facelift.
You will continue to show science of facial aging until life is over.
Accepting and understanding, this is part of becoming an adult.
Fillers and Botox are usually first line of defense, but it’s usually not started until facial aging shows a bit more typically when people are in their late 20s to early 30s.
If you want to minimize facial aging, here are some measures with proven track record.
1) Daily high SPF sunscreen and avoid excessive sun exposure.2) avoid all nicotine containing products.3) avoid becoming obese and especially having substantial weight fluctuations.4) avoid consumption, especially excessive of alcohol or drug use.
If you go into a plastic surgeons office asking if for a procedure, you may end up having one.
Surgical intervention is often permanent and irreversible.
Fillers and Botox are not.
