Can laser therapy completely remove dermatillomania scars and shoe bite scars?

When young I used to pick insect bitten skin and now the areas have turned brownish black..Also a few years ago i had some shoe bites and now those areas have turned brownish black...The scars are moderate..Can laser therapy remove them completely??

Thanks for your question.  It sounds like the dark spot are post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).  You may also have some underlying scarring that would also be helped.After a personal consultation, we would probably recommend the PicoSure Laser with the FOCUS Lens for pigment and texture correction.  PicoSure is safe for all skin types.  Depending on the severity of the pigment and marks, it will probably take 3 to 4 treatments.  Best of luck.
