Can this be fixed? I’ve been told to add cold compress, but I believe it’s too much filler
Answer: Filler Follow Up Thank you for sharing your question. Since your filler injections were only several days ago, you are likely still very swollen. I recommend waiting a full 2 weeks before evaluating your results to allow for all swelling to resolve. At the 2-week mark, if you are still unhappy with your results, you can follow up with your injector. There is an enzyme called hyaluronidase that can be injected to dissolve the existing filler. While this will not likely be necessary, it is a good option to have in case your swelling does not resolve. If you feel your symptoms are escalating, you should contact your injector sooner for evaluation. Best, Dr. Kian

Answer: Swelling after Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella)--Wait 2 weeks, reverse with hyaluronidase It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can be asymmetrical, and last 1-2 weeks after filler injections. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Swollen pillow face post fillers Hello, this is likely to be swelling associated with your treatment. If after 2 weeks it hasn’t settled then please see a surgeon for reversal. Cold compress can help but I would let it settle naturally.

Answer: Swelling after Fillers--wait 2 weeks It's too soon for final results. Swelling can be typical. Icing and cold compresses may give improvement. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. I hope this helps!

Answer: Juvaderm injection It takes time for the swelling to resolve after an injection of a filler, especially if the injection was just done yesterday. I suggest you call your injector and discuss the concern you have and get an examination of the area. You should be evaluated for a possible infection or an allergic reaction in the injection site. If your injector does not think that there are any signs or symptoms of infection or an allergic reaction, give the area at least 10 - 14 days for the swelling to go away. If it is not resolved at that time be re evaluated.
