Can popping a pimple 3 days after getting Juvederm injections migrate the filler?

Question

I got Juvederm Ultra Plus injected about 3 days ago near the nasal labial folds/smile lines. I had a pimple near the injection site and attempted to pop it, forgetting I just got filler done. Is there any possible way that I have caused the filler to migrate? Or should the filler have already settled down 3 days post injections? Thanks.

No, this is unlikely to cause your filler to migrate. You may still have some residual swelling. Icing and cold compresses may give improvement. I would wait a full two weeks before assessing results. Hope this helps.

It is common to see some swelling for around 3 days with juvederm doe to it's affinity to water, but that starts to calm down afterwards. Popping a pimple 3 days after is unlikely to move the filler.

Popping a pimple near your injection site 3 days after filler should not cause the filler to migrate. Filler is usually fairly settled even after 24 hours. It would take a lot to move it around.I hope this helps!Dr. Quenby Erickson
