I have been considering a lip lift for a very long time. I’ve consulted many doctors from plastic surgeons to dentists to orthodontists etc. I had braces as a teen and then Invisalign in my twenties. My teeth are high and the bridge is right under my nose. I’m not sure how long my upper lip is but I’ve always thought the bull horn lip lift may give me a toothier smile. Any suggestions, ideas, recommendations etc thank you!!

Answer: 1 photo is not enough but you might be a good candidate for a lip lift Lip lift is an excellent procedure for shortening the skin portion of the upper lip with an incision right under the nose. You appear to have excess dental show on smiling. This is usually an indication of a good candidate for this procedure. Lip lift also helps to evert, or turn out the upper lip that makes it more prominent without expanding it with a "duck" like look that filler can sometimes yield.

Answer: Lip lift Thank you for your pictures! Honestly I'd have to see some pictures at rest as well as with the mouth slightly open and profile to get a better idea of what can and can't be done. Realistically a lip lift on the right candidate usually improves the smile as it sets the lip at the appropriate anatomic height. However, healing process does take time and I find that it can take some time for that smile to feel normal again. I hope some of this helps!
