I'm really interested in getting a lip lift for a more sexy and youthful look. I wish my teeth would show more when my mouth is open and wish I had a better pout face. I read that lip lifts are nice to increase the vermillion boarder a little and shorten the distance between the lip and nose. Based on the photos Am I a candidate for a lip lift??
Answer: Could a lip lift improve my appearance? Your photos show that your upper lip is covering your teeth. In addition, you have a small chin. A Lip lift can benefit you in many ways. You will have a shorter philtrum that is more aesthetic and cute. You will show more vermilion ( the red lip ). You will also show some teeth when your moth is open which is also cuter, especially for a young lady like yourself. You will also have a better philtrum to chin ratio. This is the ratio of the length of the philtrum to the distance between the lower lip and the tip of the chin. You would need to be seen in person or at least a face time to validate these suggestions.

Answer: Lip Lift Candidate Short Answer: Most Likely The ideal candidate for the Elelyft, or upper lip lift, is someone with a philtral length of 14mm or longer, no upper dental show, and/or a thin upper lip. The nasal base to mouth width ratio needs to be taken into consideration to avoid leaving the lip corners down. Consult with an experienced lip surgeon for a complete range of options that are appropriate for your situation. Gary Linkov, MD Lip Specialist

Answer: Candidate for a Lip Lift Unfortunately, it is difficult to make a full assessment based on the photos you provided. I can say that a lip lift is an effective way to shorten the philtrum (the tissue between the nose and mouth) and produce more upper lip and teeth show when you smile. I recommend you schedule a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience in surgical lip lifts. Through an in-person assessment, your doctor should be able to determine whether this is a good choice for you and customize your surgical plan to meet your precise needs and goals. Lip lifts are performed on an outpatient basis and often using local anesthetic. A single incision is placed at the base of the nose, which is nearly invisible after it heals. Recovery from a lip lift is usually one to two weeks.

Answer: Lip lift candidate It is difficult to determine if you are a candidate for this surgery without more photos and measuring the distance between the base of your nose and lip vermilion. The measured distance is very important. The lip lift surgery does produce the results that you so nicely stated.

Answer: Lip lift? I need to see photos with your head level. Your head is down in these photos and you cannot possibly tell if this is or is not right for you. I have done this operation for 44 years and suggest you do nothing until you have several consultations with experienced FFS sturgeons.
