10 days post jaw/genioplasty and Fat Transfer, lower lip pulls to the left and top lip is uneven. Will this change? (photos)

Hi and thanks for your question. The post op period can be a difficult time. The swelling has gone down a lot, but not completely, and the incisions are all still healing. As a result, there are usually areas of asymmetry that can be quite concerning. Furthermore, there is no way of knowing, for sure, if the issues you describe are all completely related to the swelling or if there is something wrong with the surgery. The best person who can make the distinction about normal healing and swelling is your surgeon. Hello and thank you for your question. The type of surgeries you had are known to cause significant swelling, which can take variable amount of time to resolve. You may see some asymmetry as the swelling does not completely resolve evenly. The best approach would be wait until all of the swelling has subsided, which can often take weeks in some patients. It is also normal for the lips to swell as well after fat transfer so I would wait for the swelling to resolve. I recommend talking to your surgeon and following up with him/her for any questions or concerns. Good luck!
