Can anything dissolve dead fat lumps after fat transfer to breast? Serrapeptase?

Question

I have some pea-size very hard lumps around my breasts and a very rough about 3x2 cm hard flat lump after fat transfer to breast 10 months ago. I have just learned about Serrapeptase that "eats" up scar tissue. Can it eat up dead fat too or is there anything that can naturally dissolve those lumps?

If the lump is the result of swelling, seroma, or  hematoma,  it should resolve quickly.  If the lump is fat necrosis or viable fat that becomes discrete and remains palpable, it may require further treatment like aspiration or removal.

Thanks for the question, there is some debate over this, I have heard of people injecting steroids or other things to try and shatter the scar balls, I think that manipulating the breast is always trouble at this point. I would suggest anti inflmmarory and massage to help reduce the size of the lesions. I know it can be frustrating and sore but hang in there these things do get better

Bonny,I use mild steroid injections right into the center of the scar tissue and it softens them.Good luck with softening the lumps.Dr T

Dear Bonny1971,Hello and thank you for your excellent question. If you still have fat or oil cysts in your breasts 10 months after fat transfer, they are unlikely to improve without some intervention.  I suggest either acoustic therapy (Z wave) to breast this up, VASER, drainage, excision, or traditional liposuction to remove these areas.  If you have any questions, call our office for assistance.
