Hi, I've been a mouth breather all my life. I noticed that my jaw is recessed, it impacts not only the way I look but how I breathe as well. I wake up through out the night & have a dry mouth in the morning. I had a septoplasty done however in my sleep I still resort to mouth-breathing. I'm looking into a genioplasty and using a CPAP machine, or going towards a more invasive procedure that would solve both. I have a normal bite. Unsure if genioplasty would be the ideal treatment.
