Pain and swelling on right breast. Should I worry? Is it normal?

You should visit your chosen surgeon and follow up. It is impossible to say over a photo. Best of luck. 

As others have said, most patients are close to completely healed 10 weeks after surgery. It would be a good idea to visit with your surgeon to allow him or her to examine you. Hope this helps - Sam Jejurikar, MD

By 10 weeks most patients having undergone breast augmentation are nearly totally healed. Significant asymmetry in pain or size of the breasts should be reported to your surgeon.

I would suggest letting your surgeon check you and make sure you are healing properly. A physical exam will help tell if something is truly wrong, or if you are more sore due to your dominant arm.

It is unlikely that you would be experiencing this kind of pain unless there is some sort of complication. I suggest contacting your surgeon as soon as possible to determine the cause of the pain and how it may be resolved.Traci Temmen, MDPlastic Surgery Center of Tampa

Thank you for the question and photo.  Without an exam it will be difficult to know for sure what is occurring but it appears that the muscle and pocket on that side may be tighter than the other.  I would discuss this with your plastic surgeon as he/she may advise you to massage that breast downward.  Otherwise, I do not see any evidence of a hematoma (blood/bleeding) or an infection.All the best,Dr. Remus Repta
