Pain and swelling on right breast. Should I worry? Is it normal?

It's been 10 weeks since my surgery and my right breast is swollen on the upper part and it hurts when I lay down. When I touch it and push it side to side it feels like there's something inside. Should I worry? Is it normal?

By 10 weeks most patients having undergone breast augmentation are nearly totally healed. Significant asymmetry in pain or size of the breasts should be reported to your surgeon.

I would suggest letting your surgeon check you and make sure you are healing properly. A physical exam will help tell if something is truly wrong, or if you are more sore due to your dominant arm.

Thank you for the question and photo.  Without an exam it will be difficult to know for sure what is occurring but it appears that the muscle and pocket on that side may be tighter than the other.  I would discuss this with your plastic surgeon as he/she may advise you to massage that breast downward.
