Filler treatments are a relationship of trust between patient and doctor. Please either visit the doctor that injected the filler or see another doctor who uses hyalase. It is very unlikely that you have any permanent damage. Hot compresses or massage is not needed. An x-ray is not required. 

Hi Claudia.Stop worrying and see a physician who can inject hyaluronidase. This medication will completely dissolve the product if you would like to get rid of all the volume. You can also inject smaller doses of hyaluronidase so you can keep the parts of the filler you like. You do not need xrays, compression, or massage. approved yet in the U.S. However, if it is a hyaluronic acid filler it can be
removed with hyaluronidase. This can take more than treatment. Using heat or
massage will not get rid of the filler and may make it worse. This is because
it can increase scar tissue around the area. I recommend having a follow up
with your injector to discuss your concerns and determine the best treatment

Restylane typically lasts around 3-4 months so it will return to normal naturally, but you will have to give it time. If you are unhappy and do not want to return to your original doctor, I advise you follow up with another injector, experienced with lip filler who could evaluate your concerns and possibly inject hyaluronidase to get your lips back to a point where you are happy with them.
