Good evening there, It has been over little a month Restylane kiss was injected in my lips. I am very worried that it won't go away. As you see in the picture it's all in the upper lip area, and I refuse to go back to the same doctor to be injected ialurodinase. Should I use hot compresses, massage? Go to get an x-ray... Please help me, I am very worried.

Answer: 1 Month Post Lip Filler Restylane typically lasts around 3-4 months so it will return to normal naturally, but you will have to give it time. If you are unhappy and do not want to return to your original doctor, I advise you follow up with another injector, experienced with lip filler who could evaluate your concerns and possibly inject hyaluronidase to get your lips back to a point where you are happy with them.

Answer: Restylane to lip Restylane Kiss is not a product that is approved for use in the U.S. so I don't have experience with it. However, assuming it is a hyaluronic acid filler, it can be removed with hyaluronidase. It may take a few rounds of treatment as most doctors do this conservatively. Heat, massage, etc. will not get rid of the filler and may actually make it worse because it can increase scar tissue around the area. Seek an expert - and you don't have to see your original injector. Remember that removing filler is just as much an art as putting it in to begin with.
