Will 0.5ml of Juvederm be noticeable for getting lip fillers for the first time? (Photo)

Using 0.5ml of Juvederm will make a subtle change in your lips.  Please note that bruising and swelling are common after lip injections so you may not be able to see your final results for about two weeks.  The wonderful thing about fillers is that you can go slowly to get the look you want.  If after two weeks you decide you want more fullness, you can return to your injector for more product.

Since its your first time, I think its best to start with a conservative amount like 0.5mL.  Its a very reasonable amount, and based on your photo, this may be all you need. The nice thing about fillers, is that you will be able to tell pretty quickly if you want more, right after your injector finishes the 0.5 mL. Good luck!  Remember there is swelling after injections ( most intense for 2 days afterwards).

This will give you subtle improvement. I recommend following up with your injector about your desired results and whether additional filler is recommended to meet these goals. Most injectors start with one syringe. Hope this helps.
