Answer: Juvederm Reversal? It is easy to reverse Juvederm or Restylane with hyluronidase injections. Every provider that does injectables should have it on hand in case of emergency reversals (rare). If your provider does not have it, call board certified plastic surgeons in your area and you should be able to easily get it taken care of. I hope this helps.

Answer: Correcting lip filler Hi Sara. I always suggest going back to your original provider who performed your treatment in order to have your lips evaluated and potentially corrected. There can be significant swelling and distortion in the first couple days after injection. If you decide to revert to your natural lip, this can be done with an agent called hyaluronidase. I recommend that patients wait until the swelling goes down in order to be more successful and specific in dissolving with hyaluronidase. There are several very qualified providers in the Chicago area who could help if your original provider does not offer a solution that works for you. Dr. John Q. Cook, Dr. Steven Dayan, and Dr. Julius Few are all trusted colleagues. I hope this helps, and good luck! Health and Happiness, Dr. Hester

Answer: Unhappy with Lip Filler Thank you for your question. I am sorry that you are unhappy with the results of your filler. You should contact your injector to express your concerns, and they should be able to inject hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler. If you are trying to avoid seeing that same provider again, you should be able to set up a consultation with another provider and they can do the same thing for you. I hope this helps. Best of luck to you!
