I have dents above the left side of my upper lip (Photo)

Depending on the lighting, a shadow is cast that makes them look even more pronounced. 3 weeks ago I had juvederm injected, got a dark purple bruise over the entire area, and now that the bruise has healed I see no improvement. In fact, I feel the area looks worse now as it appears like a dark shadow line/dent that goes straight down to my lip. Do I need more filler? Some other kind of treatment? I'm only 30 years old and this is taking a huge toll on my self esteem. Thank you

Swelling and/or bruising can be typical. Icing, arnica and cold compresses may give improvement. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results, but this may be superficially placed filler. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. I hope th...

I would recommend waiting at least a week after your Juvederm cheek filler before having a better idea of your results.  It is not unusual to have swelling for a few days after the injection and your swelling will improve with more time.
