Can a nose get thinner and pointier with age? (Photo)

Over time with age in some patients the skin thins , in other it gets thicker. If it thins the nose can appear more defined and thinner. Sometimes it is also due to changes after a rhinoplasty

My best guess is that she had a rhinoplasty sometime in her early twenties, after reviewing all your photographs.

This is called natural aging with maturation of the nasal tissues. But in this presented case I can not rule out rhinoplasty surgery unless the person absolutely denies that there was any surgery!!!! 

Cartilage continues to grow and skin can this with age. If you want to know if she had a rhinoplasty, I would ask her.

Hi, I have performed and taught Rhinoplasty for 30 years.  Age and gravity do not create positive aesthetic changes.  The nasal tip droops with age making it appear longer but not thinner with a more defined nasal tip.  These changes can only be accomplished surgically with a Rhinoplasty.  Hope this helps.  

To me, its two different noses. I suspect one is natural and one is surgical.. These changes should not occur naturally.
