Vegan or vegetarian diet pre and post rhinoplasty?

Hello. We recommend that you continue a healthy and balanced diet before and after surgery. If you do this, you should not need any additional supplements or vitamins.

Hi,The best option is to maintain a healthy and balanced diet before and after surgery.  This is possible as vegan or vegetarian, but balance is the key to allow the body to have a full tank of the needful vitamins and minerals to allow healing.My advice is that  a balanced is the key be it Vegan or omnivoreJeremy Hunt   

Hi. Provided you are healthy and not vitamin deficient, dietary supplements arent necessary. My advice is to not take any herbal remedies as these can thin the blood and cause bleeding. Make sure you advise your surgeon what you are taking. Regardsdamien

 A normal balanced diet consisting of protein is required prior to undergoing elective cosmetic surgery. Always best to check with  your operative surgeon and followed his/ her instructions. Stay away from any herbal supplements, vitamin D, and aspirin for 2 weeks before and after the surgery

Specific blood tests should be ordered to check the usual stuff and that you have enough essential minerals and vitamins, esp  Vit B12.
