Can inner thighs be corrected 1 year post op? (photos)

I got liposuction on my thighs year ago and I have a weird line on my inner thighs and it really shows in tight pants .Now I feel very insecure when I wear anything tight on my legs and don't know if it's possible to fix it

Hello. It is very difficult to correct liposuction defects. I would consult with your surgeon and see what options he/her presents. You could potentially coolsculpt above the defect and get some softening. In patients who have excess skin to inner thighs, a medial thigh lift soften the contour defect as well.

I can see the crease you are referring to and the quick answer is "yes, this can be improved". I perform a large number of corrective procedures in my New York City office, and this will likely require a combination of meticulous liposuction and possibly fat transfer. Make sure to use a plastic surgeon who specializes in corrective liposuction and also in fat transfer.

Thank you for your question. There is a depressed area on the right leg due to previous liposuction. The depressions in this area can be filled with fat taken from the waist or hip with Vaserlipo to make it look more smooth. Kind Regards

It looks like you had excessive liposuction in that area. This can be corrected with a combination of liposuction, fat equalization, and fat grafting. It would be a good idea to use radiofrequency for skin tightening simultaneously. I favor Renuvion J-Plasma or BodyTite.

Inner thighs are in general difficult to shape with liposuction and prone to to residual deformities, usually overcorrection. Without in person consultation I would think that a combination of selective liposuction and fat grafting should be considered. Good luck.

Inner thighs are one of the trickier areas to get just right, given the very thin skin of that area. I cannot comment on what happened without the before photos, but to smooth the transition on the inner thigh is a combination of micro lipo and fat transfer or the use of an off the shelf fat filler.

A consult with a Board certified Plastic Surgeon with extensive lipo experience is recommended. It is possible.

Excess fat above can be removed and a fat transfer can be done for the indentation. This could probably be done in the office under local anesthesia. Please discuss this with your surgeon.
